The Lincoln Road Mall
Lincoln Road was once known as one of the hottest shopping streets in the country is experiencing a kind of retail rebirth. It’s a 7 block pedestrian mall which runs from Collins Road to Biscayne Bay and is home to more than 400 shops, restaurants and businesses. It has a very international feel about it but is not nearly as tourist driven as Ocean Drive. In fact, a friend and I were walking to dinner and English was the minority language being spoken by far. All of the cafes and restaurants have outdoor seating-in fact, there are more seats available outside than inside. One of my favorite eateries is Le Bon where the mussels are always delicious and I can have a tasty beer from Belgium on tap! You can present your Go Miami Card there as well to receive a free piece of tiramisu when you purchase 2 entrees. The Lincoln Road Market is a farmer’s market that offers a wide variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, juices, home-made breads and flowers. The market is popular among South Beach locals and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday year round.
