Entry with the Go Miami Card
The Wolfsonian FIU is a museum and research center in Miami Beaches Art Deco District that explores the persuasive power of art and design in the modern world. The Wolfsonian FIU's collection comprises approximately 120,000 objects that demonstrate the role of design as an agent and expression of the cultural, political, and technological changes that swept the world from the late-nineteenth to mid-twentieth centuries. Primarily from North America and Europe, the collection features furniture, decorative arts, paintings, books, periodicals, and ephemera.
Permanent, temporary, and traveling shows address broad themes such as nationalism, political persuasion, industrialization, architecture and urbanism, consumerism and advertising, transportation, and world's fairs. Guided tours are available on Thursdays and Fridays at 6:00 pm.
